Interior Painting

This project took place at "Material Good" in Highland Park and focused on delivering a clean, refined interior finish that matched the level of detail already present in the space. The scope included interior painting throughout the hallway corridor, along with custom paint work designed to complement the existing stone elements and architectural details.

The corridor required careful planning to keep everything consistent from end to end. Wall finishes were applied to maintain a uniform look while still allowing the materials and lighting to stand out. Around the stonework, we added custom paint transitions to keep the edges crisp and intentional without pulling attention away from the stone itself. Those details were handled to blend naturally with the surrounding finishes rather than feel added on.

A key part of this project was the ceiling lighting. The linear fixtures were removed and re-sprayed using an HVLP system to achieve a smooth, even finish that matched the overall design. Spraying the fixtures allowed for a cleaner result than brushing or rolling and helped the lights sit seamlessly within the ceiling once reinstalled.

The final result is a polished interior with consistent finishes, clean lines, and subtle detailing that supports the space without overpowering it. This project is a good example of high-end interior painting where the work is meant to be noticed for how clean it looks, not for how much attention it draws to itself.
