Cabinet Painting
This kitchen was all about creating a clean, durable finish that feels timeless and holds up to everyday use. For Sarah’s home, we refinished the existing cabinets and repainted the kitchen walls to give the space a brighter, more cohesive look without changing the layout.
The cabinets were prepped and sealed using a shellac-based primer to lock everything in and ensure proper adhesion. From there, we applied a Command top coat in a satin finish. This system creates an extra durable surface that resists wear, cleans easily, and keeps the cabinets looking smooth without being overly shiny. Satin was the right choice here. It adds just enough sheen to feel refined while staying practical for a busy kitchen.
We also painted the kitchen walls to tie the entire space together. The wall color complements the cabinetry and countertops, helping the room feel lighter and more finished while keeping everything balanced.
This project is a good example of how the right prep, products, and finish choices can completely transform a kitchen. By focusing on durability and clean details, the end result feels polished, functional, and built to last.
